Privacy Policy

Signal Engine ("the app", "we") is operated by Big Vision Marketing. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and how you can delete it.
Data we collect
- Account: your email address, your name (optional), and your password, stored only as a one-way salted hash.
- Zerodha connection: your Kite Connect API key and API secret, your daily Kite access token, and your Zerodha user ID. The secret and the access token are encrypted at rest and never sent back to the app.
- Your settings: your watchlist and the strategies you create or enable.
- Activity: alerts generated for you, paper-trade journal entries, backtest usage counts, and when you last used the app.
- Device: a Firebase Cloud Messaging token, so we can send notifications to your phone.
We do not collect your Zerodha login password or 2FA codes (you enter those only on Zerodha's own login page). We do not read your holdings, funds or orders, and we do not place orders.
How we use it
- To stream market data from your own Zerodha session and evaluate your strategies.
- To send you alert notifications and show your signal history and journal.
- To apply your subscription plan's limits and to provide support.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share your market data with other users.
Sharing
- Zerodha: to log in and receive market data on your behalf, using your API key.
- Google Firebase: to deliver push notifications.
- Hosting provider: our servers are hosted in a data centre operated by Hostinger.
- Legal requests: when required by applicable law.
Security
Data travels over HTTPS. Zerodha secrets and tokens are encrypted, passwords are hashed with scrypt, and access to servers is restricted.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account in the app, or by emailing us. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Children
The app is intended for adults (18+) who hold their own trading account.
